The Gadgeteer recently posted an in-depth review of the MX-760HD, and had nothing but good things to say about it. The Gadgeteer's Review of MX-760HD
In addition, many bloggers picked up this review and more than a few of them likened the 760 to Apple TV and noted that the 760 was superior in many ways to Apple's latest media product.
They enjoyed using titles like "Mvix HD Media Center Could Top Apple TV" and "Apple TV vs the Mvix MX-760 HD".

The Apple Blog 1 Apr 2007 5:39 PM EST/EDT - Post#15
The Apple Blog posted a quick review of the Mvix MX-760HD in a post called Mvix: An Apple TV Alternative.
Here's a snippet of the article:
The device itself is not as stylish as an Apple TV, but it is far from ugly. The interface is not as snazzy as an Apple TV, but if you can live without the flashiness, the Mvix is a quite capable machine. It costs $299 over at ThinkGeek.

andPOP Reviews the MX-760HD 1 Apr 2007 5:43 PM EST/EDT - Post#16
Elliott Rudner at andPOP posted a review called MVIX 760HD Brings New Life to Your TV on 3/12/07.
andPOP's snippet:
What I really like about the MVIX760HD is how easily I can put it in my bag take it to a friend's house and have hours of entertainment at the click of a remote. The idea of not having to take my case of CDs, DVDs is a great change from lugging around 50 CDs. The great thing about the USB feature is that you won’t have to burn any CDs or DVDs when you have this piece of hardware- just plug in your USB and drag it over. It’s that simple.

Networking Audio Video MX-760HD Review 1 Apr 2007 5:46 PM EST/EDT - Post#17
Networking Audio and Video recently posted a Mvix MX-760HD.
Very few people want to sit at their computer to watch movies or look at sideshows of pictures. Hook this up to your TV and you won't have to. ...it can play HD content up to 1080i/p which covers just about all you would want out of a player of this sorts. They have put a ton of support in here for different file types and these days you need to be able to play almost everything to get noticed.

CNET Review - Mvix MX-760HD 1 Apr 2007 5:49 PM EST/EDT - Post#18
The mother of all review sites, CNET, posted CNET Review of Mvix MX-760HD in which the Mvix MX760HD scored a 7.0 out of 10.0 which is a "Very Good" rating at CNET.
CNET's bottomline:
The Mvix MX-760 streaming media hard disk enclosure is absolutely jam-packed with features, but its varied assortment of quirks will probably limit its appeal to the enthusiast and DIY crowds.

HTGUYS Podcast: A Home Theater Swiss Army Knife, MX-760HD 1 Apr 2007 5:52 PM EST/EDT - Post#19
In the HTGUYS HTGUYS Podcast, the HTGUYS described the Mvix MX-760HD as:
Overall the Mvix MX-760HD was a smashing success. It's really like a home theater Swiss army knife, and would fit well in just about anyone's stocking. Setup is pretty simple. To install the hard drive you just remove one screw, pop the drive in place, plug it in and put the screw back in. It handled every file type we threw at it without problems, DivX HD, WMV HD, XviD, WMA, MP3, you name it.

Amazon's Customer Reviews of the Mvix MX-760HD 3 Apr 2007 3:02 AM EST/EDT - Post#35
Quite a few customers' (brief) reviews over at Amazon:
While there are a plethora of such devices, the combination of wireless streaming and the ability to play ISO files directly made the MX-760HD the logical choice. I've had this only a couple weeks and I'm very pleased with performance of this device.

Review with Lots of Screenshots and Photos 3 Apr 2007 3:13 AM EST/EDT - Post#37
Here is a review that contains a slew of screenshots and pictures. Unfortunately, either the reviewer is a non-native English speaker or the review was translated (poorly) from another language. It's pretty difficult to read, but enjoy the pics.
